Writer Service Agreement


This Writer Service Agreement ("Agreement") is made and entered into between Guru-Writers.com ("Company" or "Website") and the independent contractor providing writing services ("Writer"). By accepting assignments through the Company’s platform, the Writer agrees to abide by all terms and conditions outlined below.


Definitions



  • "Company" or "Website" refers to Guru-Writers.com.

  • "Writer" refers to any independent contractor providing writing services for the Company.

  • "Customer" refers to the individual or entity placing an order on the Website.

  • "Order" denotes a project assigned to a Writer, which may include but is not limited to essays, research papers, reports, dissertations, articles, or editing tasks.

  • "Product" is the completed written work delivered to the Company by the Writer in accordance with the Order's requirements.


Relationship of Parties
The Writer is an independent contractor and not an employee, agent, or representative of the Company. This Agreement does not establish any partnership, joint venture, or agency relationship. The Writer is solely responsible for paying their taxes, insurance, and all other expenses incurred in providing services under this Agreement.


Services Provided
The Writer agrees to provide writing, editing, or research services as specified in each Order assigned through the Website. The Writer will use their expertise to deliver high-quality, original work that meets the Customer's specified requirements.


Quality Standards
All written content submitted by the Writer must adhere to the following standards:



  1. Originality: The Writer guarantees that all work is original and free from plagiarism. Plagiarism in any form, including verbatim copying, paraphrasing without citation, or using unauthorized resources, is strictly prohibited.

  2. Accuracy: The work must be accurate, well-researched, and free from factual errors.

  3. Grammar and Style: All work must be grammatically correct and follow academic or professional writing standards as specified in the Order requirements.

  4. Formatting: The Writer agrees to adhere to any formatting, citation, and style guidelines specified in the Order, including but not limited to APA, MLA, Chicago, and Harvard formatting.

  5. Timeliness: The Writer is expected to meet all specified deadlines. Late submissions without prior approval may result in penalties or order reassignment.


Assignment and Acceptance of Orders



  • Order Assignment: The Company assigns Orders based on the Writer’s qualifications, expertise, and availability. Writers may choose to accept or decline an assigned Order.

  • Order Details: Each Order contains specific instructions, including required formatting, length, and deadline. The Writer must review these details thoroughly before accepting an Order.

  • Order Acceptance: Upon accepting an Order, the Writer agrees to deliver the completed Product by the specified deadline and in compliance with all Order requirements.

  • Order Reassignment: If the Writer is unable to complete an accepted Order, they must notify the Company immediately. Repeated reassignment requests may affect the Writer’s future assignment eligibility.


Compensation and Payment Terms



  1. Rate of Pay: The Company pays the Writer per completed Order at a rate mutually agreed upon. Rates may vary based on Order complexity, length, and deadline.

  2. Payment Schedule: Payments are processed bi-weekly or monthly, based on the Company’s standard payroll schedule. The Writer will receive payment via the method agreed upon during registration.

  3. Revisions: The Company may request revisions to ensure the Product meets quality and specification standards. The Writer agrees to make necessary revisions without additional compensation within the initial feedback period of 14 days after delivery.

  4. Deductions: Payments may be adjusted if the Product fails to meet quality standards or is returned for extensive revision.


Intellectual Property and Confidentiality



  1. Transfer of Rights: By delivering the completed Product, the Writer transfers all intellectual property rights to the Company. The Company reserves the right to use, modify, or distribute the Product at its discretion.

  2. Confidentiality: The Writer agrees to maintain confidentiality regarding all Orders, Customer information, and proprietary materials. The Writer will not share or disclose Order details, Customer identities, or any other sensitive information related to the Company’s business.

  3. Non-Disclosure: The Writer shall not discuss or disclose any information related to an Order, Product, or the Company’s business with any third party, including sharing the work completed for the Company as part of a writing portfolio.


Quality Assurance and Revision Policy



  1. Quality Review: The Company reserves the right to review each completed Product for quality and compliance with Order specifications. If any issues are identified, the Company may request revisions.

  2. Revisions Policy: The Writer agrees to complete any requested revisions promptly and in accordance with feedback provided by the Company or Customer.

  3. Failure to Revise: If the Writer repeatedly fails to revise or fails to meet quality standards, the Company reserves the right to reassign the Order to another Writer and may withhold partial or full payment for the original submission.


Code of Conduct
Writers are expected to conduct themselves professionally and respectfully in all communications and interactions with the Company, Customers, and fellow Writers. Harassment, discrimination, and any form of abusive language are strictly prohibited and may result in termination of this Agreement.


Technical and Communication Requirements



  1. Communication: The Writer is responsible for maintaining regular communication with the Company regarding Order progress, clarifications, and any issues that may impact timely delivery.

  2. Technical Requirements: The Writer must have reliable access to the internet, a computer, and software necessary for completing writing tasks, such as word processing tools and referencing software.

  3. Platform Use: All communications, file uploads, and Order submissions should be made via the Website’s designated platform or email system, unless otherwise authorized.


Termination of Agreement



  1. Voluntary Termination: Either party may terminate this Agreement at any time with written notice.

  2. Cause for Termination: The Company reserves the right to terminate this Agreement immediately if the Writer engages in plagiarism, repeatedly fails to meet quality standards, misses deadlines, or violates any of the terms in this Agreement.

  3. Effects of Termination: Upon termination, the Writer will forfeit any remaining unpaid Orders and may lose access to Company resources and platforms. All confidentiality and intellectual property terms survive termination of this Agreement.


Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Company operates. Any legal disputes arising from this Agreement shall be resolved in the Company’s principal place of business.


Entire Agreement
This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the Company and the Writer regarding the services to be provided. Any modifications to this Agreement must be made in writing and signed by both parties.


Acknowledgment of Agreement
By accepting an Order from the Company, the Writer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to abide by the terms and conditions outlined in this Agreement. Failure to adhere to any part of this Agreement may result in penalties, including but not limited to reassignment of Orders, reduction of pay, and termination of this Agreement.
